Paraná's regional medicine council is the organization responsible to supervise the whole medical area in the state of Paraná with the goal to establish discipline, judge and work for a perfect performance by doctors in the region. With such a responsibility, the institution looked for a company with the necessary commitment to guarantee the continuity and keep it's technology infrastructure.

THE PROJECT

As a first act, we did punctual improvements, needed for the client to accomplish short-term tasks. This sorted, infrastructure improvements took place, aiming to ease the management of IT resources in the company, such as:

Set a new web server/DNS with Apache, Tomcat and GlassFish
Install a new KVM virtualization system
Install a new collaboration server of e-mails Zimbra and the migration of Outlook/Live Mail to the webmail tool of the system, which made the backup of all user data way easier.

The third part of the project was the setup of the new resources for the users:

A new domain served based in Samba 4
Setup the internal instant messages system, using the base of user password and groups in the same domain server .

THE OUTCOME

With the improvements WSU Tech implemented, CRM started using the existing infrastructure in a better and more stable way, and also a partner to help in planning, execution and security of it’s technology infrastructure.
