THE PROJECT
Florestal Gateados got in touch with WSU Tech to provide specialized advice and execute a project to improve the IT scenario in the company. The focus in this project was the research of strategies and technologies to assure data safety.
THE OUTCOME
In a first moment, WSU Tech alongside with Florestal Gateados choose the right hardware to fulfill the demand. The second step was, implementing a virtualization system looking to improve the resources and server management. A total of three systems were virtualized: Firewall, Windows Server and OpenFire (internal communication).
Among the benefits of this project we can highlight the internet access through AD authentication and also use your computer away from it with the Remote Desktop, optimizing the use of workstations. A Firewall was also used to assure safety and availability in all services, managing all your data links, servers and filtering what people accessed in the company.
